After graduating from North Texas State University where he was a member of the Talons Service Fraternity, he entered Baylor University School of Denistry, continuing his service to people with the Sigma Phi Honor Fraternity. "Doc" practiced denistry in Midland, Texas for eight years- his new version of helping people until he bought a local clothing store. For the next twenty years, Doc worked at helping people dress their best while he threw himself into civic organizations and the land. He was a member of the Downtown Midland Lion’s Club, worked as a part-time hunting guide and wildlife manager, served on the Board of Directors of High Sky Children’s Ranch in Midland, and for seven years provided a foster home for three adorable girls. In 1999 he and his wife Perry moved to Bastrop. Doc’s real estate expertise combines his many year’s experience in sales, marketing, and managment with his love of people and property. He and Perry live in one of Bastrop’s historic homes and own acreage in the area where they retreat on weekends to enjoy the countryside. Doc specializes in Farm and Ranch properties and historic homes. His knowledge and love of both combined with the business acumen make buying and selling real estate a pleasure. He lives and loves his business. And "Doc" makes house calls!!! |
